Hebrews 9:1-14
1. Jesus Brings Us into the Real Presence of God
The tabernacle’s rooms and furnishings were not the destination; they pointed forward to something greater. Jesus entered the true heavenly sanctuary and offered himself once for all. Through his blood, the way into God’s presence is opened—not into an empty room, but into the presence of the living God.

2. Jesus Covers Both Our Worst and Our Best
We need more than forgiveness for obvious sin. Even our best efforts can be tangled up with pride and the desire to be our own savior. The perfection of Christ covers our worst failures and our best works. We don’t earn our standing before God; Jesus secures it for us.

3. Jesus Frees Us to Serve with Purpose
Jesus does not cleanse us so we can remain idle; he frees us to serve the living God. Our labor is not an attempt to earn our worth or make ourselves our own savior. We belong to God, bear his name, and can serve with confidence that our work in the Lord is not in vain.
