“They Will Not Enter My Rest”

Passage: Hebrews 3:7-19

The preacher quotes from Ps. 95 that the professed people of God who came out of Egypt were denied entry into the promised land of rest for unbelief. Their example is a warning which applies across time that likewise, those that will not believe the gospel, though they claim status as a “Christian”, will never enter the eternal rest of God. Those that do trust Christ and His finished work are eternally secure.
