Derrick and Rae
Derrick was born and raised in Kampala, Uganda while Rae was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. They met at a college campus in Nairobi, Kenya where they were both pursuing theological studies. They share a passion for making disciples of all nations and they both love traveling. In the fall of 2019, they planted Cross Fellowship Church in Kampala, Uganda with great values of gospel-centrality, discipleship, and serving the kingdom beyond their own church by training leaders.

Our Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM) is a team that loves to provide wraparound care for foster and adoptive families in our church and community ministering to vulnerable children. This care includes ongoing provision of weekly meals, respite care, prayer support, encouragement and support through collaboration, and more.
