Pressing On to Know Him
Paul confesses that he hasn’t already arrived—but he presses on to take hold of Christ, who has taken hold of him. The Christian life isn’t about perfection; it’s about pursuit. To know Jesus deeply means we keep leaning forward, straining toward what lies ahead, not looking back in regret or pride.

What are you tempted to look back at—failures or successes—that keep you from pressing forward?
How can you take one intentional step this week toward knowing Jesus more personally?

“But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal…” — Philippians 3:13–14

Loving Him Changes Everything
Paul’s affection for Christ transforms his ambitions, relationships, and way of life. Loving Jesus isn’t just emotional—it reorients the heart. When we love Him, our desires shift from earthly comforts to eternal ones. Paul warns that many live as enemies of the cross, their minds set on earthly things. Love for Christ lifts our gaze higher.

What competes for your love and attention more than Jesus right now?
How does genuine love for Christ reshape how you spend your time, energy, or words?

“Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.” — Colossians 3:2

Sharing Him with Hope
Paul reminds us that “our citizenship is in heaven.” We represent the kingdom of Christ in how we live and how we love others. To share Him is to point people to the Savior we’re eagerly waiting for—the One who will transform our lowly bodies to be like His glorious body. Our striving has an end: to see Jesus exalted in every heart.

Who around you needs to hear about the hope you have in Christ?
How can your life this week point someone else toward heaven’s true King?

“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 3:20
